I've been earning a living as a writer since 1990 but, apart from a few long lost scribbles, I only started trying fiction in 2004. I joined a local writing workshop and then did two years at Birkbeck, University of London.I had my first story published in 2006, but didn't submit anything else for the next four years. I can't really remember why.
In 2010, I decided to start sending work out again, and had four stories published. I've kind of gone on from there.
